Ashleigh works as a Technology Application Specialist within the product development team for Cargill's salmon business across Norway, the UK, and Canada. In this role, she is responsible for the development and market introduction of innovative products and solutions, with a particular emphasis on landbased farming and novel aquaculture approaches. Ashleigh holds a PhD in Marine Science from the University of Aberdeen/ Scottish Association of Marine Science. Prior to joining Cargill, Ashleigh worked for an Atlantic salmon farming company in Scotland with roles in production and animal health. In addition, she has a strong academic background working on developing diagnostic tools for salmon health monitoring.
