Gerry McCollum is the CEO of Mvuvi Holdings ' a group of tilapia fish farms in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique with installed capacity of 15,000t per annum. He is an Engineer from Ireland and has been involved in farming fish in the Zambezi Valley for nearly 30 years. He began his career by building and operating a processing plant in Kariba supplying fresh fillets to the European market. He has built several fish feed plants, the most recent with capacity 3,000t per month. He continues to identify ways to make really significant efficiencies with feed and feeding innovations.
