Markus is a finance expert and marine biologist. He worked for more than 15 years in corporate finance where he has overseen several M&A projects, distressed restructurings, and large corporate finance projects. He has set up corporate VCs and helped to from a family office. He graduated in biological oceanography and combines a strong financial skillset with extensive knowledge of marine ecosystems. He founded Planet Ocean Fund in 2021 to help boost the blue economy, derisk it and educate investors about it.
