Ragnhild Dragøy
Ragnhild is the CEO of CageEye, a Norwegian aguatech company employing hydroacoustics and AI to monitor fish welfare and improve feeding for farmed fish. CageEye develops tools to advance aquaculture on the fish’s terms, creating a future where feeding is intelligent, waste is minimised, fish welfare is improved, and the world gains access to more sustainable, high-quality seafood.
Ragnhild has a PhD in Chemistry from Tufts University (Medford, MA, USA) and an MBA in sustainable seafood from The Norwegian School of Economics. Before joining CageEye, Ragnhild worked as SVP for product management at Aker Qrill Company and as a research director at Nofima, a research institute. Ragnhild has experience from several board positions in both funding agencies and commercial entities. Ragnhild is passionate about sustainable food systems for the future.
